Pipe Pre-processing Tools
‌Pipe Cutter‌: Used for precise cutting of steel pipes, ensuring the cut end is perpendicular to the pipe's central axis and the cut surface is smooth and free of burrs.
‌Roll Grooving Machine‌: Specialized equipment used to form standard-compliant annular grooves at the pipe ends via extrusion, without damaging the internal wall structure.
‌Grinder/Angle Grinder‌: Used to remove burrs and flash from cut pipe ends and to smooth out uneven cut surfaces.
‌Vernier Caliper‌: Used for precise measurement of groove depth, width, and pipe end dimensions to ensure compliance with national standard tolerances.
‌Level‌: Used to verify the horizontal alignment of the pipe, preventing tilting during grooving or installation.

Assembly and Fastening Tools
‌Specialized Wrench (Box-end/Socket Wrench)‌: Used to tighten the coupling's locking bolts evenly and alternately, ensuring uniform distribution of force.
‌Wooden Mallet‌: Used to gently tap the coupling for position adjustment, avoiding damage to the coupling surface or sealing gasket that could be caused by a metal hammer.
‌Brush‌: Used to clean debris and dust from the pipe end grooves, ensuring clean contact surfaces.

Auxiliary Tools
‌Steel Tape Measure‌: Used to measure pipe installation positioning dimensions and verify the spacing of supports and hangers.
‌Lubricant (Soapy Water/Detergent)‌: Used solely to lubricate the rubber sealing gasket; oil-based lubricants are prohibited as they can corrode the rubber.
‌Pressure Test Pump‌: Used to conduct hydrostatic testing after installation to verify the sealing integrity of the connections.
‌Scaffolding/Pipe Supports‌: Used to securely support the pipe during high-altitude work or the installation of large-diameter piping.
