Core Structural Components
It consists primarily of three parts: A rubber sealing gasket, a coupling (clamp), and locking bolts. The inner rubber gasket fits against the pipe's exterior to create a seal, while the external coupling is tightened with bolts to form a complete connection system.
Product Classification Structure
Products fall into two main categories: one comprises components that provide connection and sealing-such as rigid couplings, flexible couplings, mechanical tees, and grooved flanges; the other comprises components that facilitate pipeline transitions-such as elbows, tees, crosses, reducers, and blind caps.
Material and Performance Characteristics
The primary material is typically ductile iron, offering high toughness, compressive strength, and impact resistance. The accompanying rubber sealing gasket enables a self-tightening seal; the higher the internal fluid pressure, the better the sealing performance, with a maximum nominal pressure rating of 2.5 MPa.
Connection Compatibility
The system relies on grooves pre-rolled into the pipe to engage the coupling, ensuring the pipe's inner wall structure remains intact. It is compatible with various pipe materials-including galvanized steel, stainless steel, and plastic-lined pipes-and provides flexible cushioning between pipes, offering resistance to vibration and thermal expansion or contraction.
